The rooms were very clean and tidy and bed was comfy. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The area was really quiet too.

I stayed here last month and can honestly say it’s my favorite stay in Bacalar! The location great just a 5 min walk to the best swimming in the lagoon! The staff was so friendly !

Beds and shower were ok. Staff were friendly and helping. Location was great for walking to the free/cheap access points on the lagoon and some great restaurants. About 1.5kms to the main square.

Upstairs room really clean and nice. Staff friendly. Location good for both the lagoon and the town (bit up hill to the main road but okay). Great value for money.

Good room for the price. Very close to many attractions and restaurants. Staff are flexible, mainly speak Spanish. Keep the hotel clean.

Lovely staff, Orlando drove us into town and everyone else was super accomodating. Great AC and comfy bed.

Very nice place, lovely and available staff, comfortable bed, hot shower and air-con. For us the location was perfect, 5-10 min walking from the vibrant "Galeon Pirata" an independent cultural space we fell in love with, where you can find circus performances and live music every night. 20min walk to the center.

Although this place is pretty basic, it is quiet, so you can sleep well. The people that run the place are decent, honest and helpful.

Awesome value for money in Bacalar. The room was comfy, had nice AC, decent wifi, and the family was super nice. It's located really close to the lagoon and a couple nice restaurants, and is also walking distance from the ADO bus station. We had a great stay!

I have been to Bacalar twice now. I walk everywhere when I am there and I look at the places available. I can tell you honestly, unless you want to pay $1000/night...this is the best place in Bacalar to stay. It is clean, the owner & staff are amazing, the place is always making improvements and yet their prices remain fair & honest. In my opinion, there are mostly two kinds of places ... extremely expensive and posh and extremely dirty and horrid and to be avoided. Then there is the rare gem which is this place. Close enough to walk downtown, 6 minutes to the lagoon, 7 minutes to an amazing little restaurant.
